The second transnational project meeting of iStream took place on June 16 and 17, 2025, at the Golden Bay Beach Hotel in Larnaca, Cyprus.
The iStream project aims to bridge the gap of competences in the use of immersive technologies within the media, journalism, and communication sectors.
The meeting was hosted by the University of Nicosia (UNIC) and gathered all partner institutions:

- Learnable – Italy
- Università Politecnica delle Marche (UNIVPM) – Italy
- University of Nicosia (UNIC) – Cyprus
- Infinitivity Design Labs (IDL) – France
During the meeting, the partners reviewed the progress made so far and aligned on the next phases of the project. The main topics discussed included:

- Progress update on the overall project implementation, presented by UKEN.
- In-depth discussion on the iStream Curriculum production focused on what has been achieved and the upcoming tasks related to curriculum development.
- Presentation of the Work Package 3 (WP3): iStream Teacher Backpack with an overview of the WP3 goals and structure.
- Presentation of the initial planning of pilot testing, outlining steps for implementation and evaluation.
- Progress update on Dissemination, Administrative aspects, and Quality Assurance, ensuring that all partners are aligned with the project’s requirements and timelines.

The meeting also included planning moments for the next key project events:
- The Third Transnational Project Meeting, to be held in Krakow, Poland.
- The Transnational Training Course, which will also take place in Krakow, aimed at equipping educators with practical skills and knowledge related to immersive journalism.
